How We Work
At Junto, each project begins with a conversation — around a table, with sketches, wood samples, and time. We invite clients into our workshop to see the wood, feel the textures, and shape the vision with us. We discuss proportions, construction methods, and technical details. We explore options based on how the material behaves, working with the wood’s natural logic.
Junto works with solid wood — certified, noble species like oak, walnut, kambala, and chestnut — carefully selected for performance, visual impact, and durability. Every joint, curve, and surface is shaped by hand, using time-tested techniques such as traditional joinery or Shou Sugi Ban wood charring. These methods deliver strength, precision, and a finish that machines simply can’t replicate. We build to last — structurally, aesthetically, and emotionally.
Most of our work is made to order. Some pieces are one of a kind, while others come from ongoing collaborations with architects, designers, and brands. In 2025, we’ll launch our first Signature Collection: a series of original designs that reflect our values, our process, and our love of material honesty.
No matter the size or complexity of the project, our approach remains the same: with care, precision, and the belief that everything meaningful is built by hand — hand in hand.
